About
Chi-Ning Chou is a postdoctoral fellow jointly between Harvard University and Flatiron Institute, working with Professor SueYeon Chung. Chi-Ning received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Harvard University, where he was advised by Professor Boaz Barak in the Theory of Computation Group.
Research Focus
Chi-Ning Chou develops theoretical frameworks and analysis methods to uncover the principles and mechanisms underlying natural and artificial intelligence. His research draws on statistical physics, optimization theory, and high-dimensional statistics to study how neural activity patterns give rise to behavior, cognition, and performance. Recently, he has focused on representational geometric analysis as a lens for diagnosing hidden generalization failures in deep neural networks.
