Nianli Peng is a graduate student in applied mathematics at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Duke University, where he researched on multi-objective reinforcement learning with provable approximations.

Research Focus

Peng’s research focuses on advancing reinforcement learning by integrating optimization theory and information-theoretic principles to enhance algorithm stability, exploration, and sample efficiency.
