Join us for a talk by Yoav Goldberg, Professor of Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University and Research Director at AI2 Israel. This talk is part of the Kempner Seminar Series, a research-level seminar series on recent advances in the field.
Large language models are amazing. They bring with them many capabilities that were unimaginable just a few years ago. But when we try and push their boundaries, we start to identify their limits. In this talk I’ll discuss two areas that I think are still wide open and important to explore: methodologies for using LLMs as components in longer running processes, and mapping the limits of their current linguistic understanding abilities.
