Lunch and Learn
Emmanuel Rassou will be presenting "Test- Time Compute"
The next Lunch and Learn of the semester will be on Monday, February 10th at 12:30pm at the SEC 6.242 Kempner Institute Conference room. Undergraduate Student Emmanuel Rassou will be presenting “Test- Time Compute.”
Lunch and Learn is an event series for Kempner community members focused on introducing participants to new topics, as opposed to sharing individual research, to provide beginner-friendly on-ramps to various subjects while encouraging curiosity through open discussions.
Please RSVP before Friday, February 7th at 3pm so that we can get a headcount for ordering food.
If you are interested in volunteering as a speaker, sign up here! We are looking for more speakers for next semester. If you’re excited, but unsure, we can help give tips and feedback!
About Lunch and Learn
The Kempner Institute lies at the intersection of NeuroAI research, requiring that we all learn a common interdisciplinary language to generate ideas at this fruitful intersection. With this in mind, “Lunch and Learn” aims to establish an informal setting where participants can explore new topics, ask questions, and practice public speaking skills in a psychologically safe environment. The event series will focus on introducing participants to new topics, as opposed to sharing individual research, to provide beginner-friendly on-ramps to various subjects while encouraging curiosity through open discussions.
This 1 hour, biweekly event features a 15-30 minute interactive whiteboard presentation followed by an open discussion. While topics for each session will be picked by a volunteer presenter, audience members are encouraged to be active participants in the discussion to promote communal learning. Because of this, volunteer presenters need not be “experts” to present!
