Generating Games and Goals with Programmatic Representations
Graham Todd, New York University
Abstract: Humans constantly invent new things to do, often in the form of games or playful goals. But while advances in artificial intelligence often produce systems capable of playing games at a superhuman level, there is comparatively less progress in modeling our capacity to invent the kinds of games that are worth playing in the first place. In this talk, I will describe my research on modeling the generation of new goals and games using techniques from program synthesis.
